Description
Night Wishes was a commission for a non dA user. She is having her first child and wanted a pony to go in the new baby's room. Said room has a woodsy/owl sort of theme, hence the owl cutie mark. I was totally honored to create a custom for such a purpose, so I also drafted a little note to go along with him:

Hello! It’s so nice to meet you! And before I say anything else, I just want to congratulate you on your new baby. The stork has certainly picked out a wonderful couple to be parents this time. I can’t wait to meet the little one!
Oh! I’m getting ahead of myself, aren’t I? Let me introduce myself. My name is Night Wishes. You can call me “Wish,” if you’d like. Anyway, a certain somepony told me that you like owls, and, well, when I heard that, I just knew that I would be a perfect fit to help out in your home.
If you take a look, you’ll see that my cutie mark is an owl. Convenient, huh? Everypony knows that cutie marks show off what your special talent is. Now I might not be able to fly and I certainly can’t turn my head all the way around, but I do have a big thing in common with my winged friends. Like an owl, I stay up all night long and keep watch. What I watch out for, though, isn’t mice or shrews, but dreams!
I think that just about everyone likes dreams, but they are my specialty! All night long I keep an eye out for them. Pretty dreams, joyful dreams, fun dreams, peaceful dreams- I let them all go by so that they can be experienced and treasured. But the other ones- sad dreams, lonely dreams, scary dreams, bad dreams- no one likes those. I guard against them and when I see one coming, I show it the door!
New parents always have a lot to think about, and plan, and do, so, I figured, I could come by and take care of one of those things for you. I’m not the best cook and unfortunately I’m no good with diaper duty, but I can certainly make sure that there are no dreams but happy ones for your little one.
We’re going to have such a wonderful time together! Can’t wait to start!
